Valley of the Geeks used to offers a free 'Votg' e-mail newsletter. In theory you could receive an occasional quarterly e-mail highlighting some of the latest news and features on the web site. It's an easy process and perfectly legal in most states as long as it's for personal recreation. Unfortunately, I've just run out of bandwidth so I haven't done a newsletter in quite a while.

The mailing list is private and you won't receive spam or unsolicited advertisements to refinance your PC, hide from creditors, get hot new XXX pix, earn big bucks writing assembly language code, meet Russian women or whatever.  (We are considering setting up a separate web site to meet Russian women who write hot assembly language code, but that's a different project.)

Note that should you choose to, you can unsubscribe at any time simply by responding via e-mail or by coming back to this page. We have plenty of subscribers so we probably won't even notice. At least for a few days.

Archives

Since I'm not doing too many newsletters any more, there are a few archive copies available.  Have a look at that pile over there in the corner.
